Our Story

Pacific Grove Fence & Deck was founded in 2019 by a crew of local craftsmen who grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and knew firsthand what coastal conditions do to outdoor structures. Salt air, marine fog, and damp winters are part of life here - and they require a different approach than what works in drier parts of California.

The business started in Pacific Grove and has stayed rooted here. The neighborhoods around Lover's Point, the Victorian streets near downtown, and the homes closer to Asilomar are all places we know well. We understand the older construction common in this city and the specific permit process at the City of Pacific Grove Building Division.

Since 2019, we have built our reputation one project at a time. Most of our work comes from homeowners who found us through a neighbor, a friend, or a family member we had done work for. That word-of-mouth trust is what drives everything we do, on every deck and fence we build.
